Dr. Beth Druckenmiller has always had a passion to help improve the lives of others. From humble beginnings, Dr. Druckenmiller worked her way through school and became the first in her family to graduate with a four-year degree. She continued her studies at Washington University in St. Louis and Harvard University, where she earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Public Health, respectively. She served in the inner cities and rural areas, both nationally and internationally, where she implemented programs aimed to improve the health and well-being of women, children, and families.
Dr. Druckenmiller was also compelled to serve her nation and joined the United States Air Force as a Public Health Officer. For six years, she ensured the health and readiness of thousands of Airmen both stateside and in deployed locations. She was medically retired after a fluke neck injury rendered her no longer fit for military duty. This is where her road to chiropractic began.
A few years later, Dr. Druckenmiller was in a car accident that left her with a traumatic brain injury. While her medical and recovery teams helped her control pain and symptoms, it was her chiropractor who she credits with saving her life. Through regular chiropractic care, she learned that she held within herself the power to heal, to be healthy, and live the life she wanted. Her chiropractor removed the nervous system dysfunction that was holding her back. This restored her body’s ability to heal itself. She realized she was not broken by her injuries—she was empowered to trust in her own innate power. Since her accident, Dr. Druckenmiller has completed several half-marathons and is setting her sights on greater accomplishments she previously never thought possible.
Dr. Druckenmiller realized her true calling in serving others was through Chiropractic. The idea that we are born with immeasurable power to live and thrive resonates, and her chiropractic education has deepened this understanding. Having raised herself above limitations set upon her, Dr. Druckenmiller seeks to help others realize their own power to heal, to function, and to live the healthy life each person desires.
Dr. Druckenmiller is excited to be a part of the community and provide neurologically based chiropractic care to the people of Evans, GA and the surrounding CSRA.
Tonya is proud to serve the community alongside her wife, Dr. Druckenmiller. As Practice Administrator, she oversees all operational, administrative, and marketing functions of the practice. Tonya received her Bachelor of Arts in Complementary and Alternative Health from Ashford University, and she has a background in business and human resources. She is also a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, with a specialization in Gut Health, from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
Tonya was not always a champion of chiropractic, mainly because she had no exposure to this form of health care. After many years of dealing with a growing list of health issues, including thyroid dysfunction, multiple autoimmune diseases, and fibromyalgia, she had been lead by the medical community to believe that she was broken and that there was no hope of healing. She finally turned to chiropractic—not yet fully realizing the impact this would have on her health. After receiving regular, principled chiropractic care, Tonya’s body slowly began functioning better, which lead to a higher level of health and quality of life. Today, many of her autoimmune conditions have gone into remission, her thyroid is functioning better, and she is more active now than she has been in years.
Tonya encourages everyone to turn to chiropractic first to improve health and function in the body before all other avenues of “sick care.”
When you come into Rising Chiropractic, Tonya will welcome you like family with her warm smile and loving heart. She is excited to be a part of your and your family’s health journey.
Owen is one of our rockstar Chiropractic Assistants. He, too, is Dr. Beth’s and Tonya’s son. He was born in Bad Aibling, Germany and raised in Georgia. Owen recently graduated from Evans High School and from Georgia Military College with an Associate Degree in General Studies. He is currently enrolled as a Junior at Augusta University to pursue a Liberal Arts Degree in Music. He also has an interest in video gaming.
Owen was born prematurely after a very traumatic labor and C-section delivery. He had ear problems from birth, sleep disturbances, GERD, asthma, and developmental delays. As he got older, he experienced chronically swollen tonsils, strep throat, and unexplained gut dysfunction. These problems developed into other neurodevelopmental disorders. Like his brothers, he had his own pillbox stocked full of medications. After learning about chiropractic and its effects on health and function, Owen began receiving regular care alongside his brothers. He is now off all medications, and no longer experiences gut problems. His immune system also functions better, so he doesn’t get as ill as often as he used to. Working for Rising Chiropractic offers Owen a chance to connect and bring greater health to his community.
Tehya is a very bright little girl with a passion for “piropractic!” She loves drawing, painting, science experiments, and playing with LOL dolls. She also loves playing “piropractor” with her Baba (Dr. Druckenmiller), as well as giving Baba make-overs. Tehya has two service dogs, named Kai and Lenna, and you will see them in the practice on a regular basis. While Kai and Lenna will be busy working and won’t be able to interact or play with you, feel free to say hi to Tehya whenever you see her.
