Choose Your Future Self – Message to Our Rising Chiropractic Family

Choose Your Future Self
Message to Our Rising Chiropractic Family
Here we are again—a new year, a fresh chapter, a clean slate. January is that magical moment when the world seems to pause just long enough for us to look both backward and forward at the same time. We reflect, we dream, we plan, and we decide who we want to become over the next twelve months.

And this year, as I reflect on everything we endured and overcame in 2025, one theme keeps rising to the surface:

We are always creating our future selves.

Not once a year.
Not only when we make resolutions.
Not only when life feels calm and organized.

But every single day.
Every choice.
Every adjustment.
Every habit.
Every thought.

We are always building the person we will become.

This idea isn’t philosophical fluff—it’s rooted in science. Dr. Joe Dispenza puts it beautifully when he writes:

“Your personality creates your personal reality. Change your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions, and you change your future.”

In other words, we are sculpting our biology, our neurology, and our destiny moment by moment. And the most incredible part? Your body is already wired for this level of renewal.

We know from research that 330 billion cells are replaced daily.
Your gut lining regenerates weekly.
Your skin renews constantly.
Your red blood cells turn over every 120 days.
Your brain—yes, even your brain—continues to grow, adapt, and rewire itself throughout your entire life.

Aging is not a decline—it’s a process of continuous creation.
Healing is not random—it’s a process of consistent communication.
You are not fixed—you are becoming.

And what orchestrates all that becoming?

Your nervous system.
The master conductor.
The bridge between your thoughts and your physiology.
The system that integrates every spark, every signal, every cell, every experience.

When your nervous system is balanced, clear, and interference-free, you build a future self filled with resilience, adaptability, strength, and healing.

When your nervous system is overloaded, stressed, or misaligned, the body creates a future self that reflects that chaos.

This is where chiropractic comes in.

When I adjust you, I’m not “moving a bone.”  I am restoring communication—brain to body, body to brain.  I am clearing interference so your Innate Intelligence can actually do its job.  I am helping your future self form with clarity instead of confusion, strength instead of strain, balance instead of burnout.

Because every adjustment is a vote for the person you want to become.  It’s a choice—a conscious, intentional choice—toward healing.  Toward health.  Toward your potential.

And after the year we’ve had, many of us are craving a future self who feels lighter, stronger, more grounded, and more aligned.

But I need you to know this:

I can’t create your future self for you.
Only you can.

I can guide you, adjust you, support you, encourage you, and walk alongside you.
But ultimately, you are the one steering the direction of your life, your health, and your growth.

And that’s the beautiful part:
You are powerful.  More powerful than you know.

Your thoughts, habits, beliefs, and nervous system responses shape your biology in real time. What you do this month will literally determine the chemistry, structure, and function of the “you” who exists in March… June… December… and beyond.

So as we step into 2026, I invite you to ask yourself:

Who do I choose to become this year?
Not who you hope to become.
Not who you think you should become.
Who do you choose to become?

Because your choices—your daily habits, your mental focus, your commitment to your adjustments and home care—will shape your future self more than any resolution ever will.

I’m choosing to grow this year.
To stretch.  To deepen my skill, my clarity, my leadership, my capacity to serve you.
I am choosing to become a better doctor for my practice members and a better human being for the people I love.

My question is—will you join me?

Will you choose the version of yourself that is healthier, stronger, more vibrant, and more aligned?
Will you choose the future self who moves without fear, adapts without struggle, and heals without interference?

I hope you will.  You deserve that future.  You are capable of that future.

And I am here to walk beside you every step of the way.

Here’s to 2026:  Growth.  Healing.  The future self you are creating—starting right now.

See you at your next adjustment.
