FAQ

Answers to frequently asked questions about health insurance coverage and costs of care.

How much will my care cost?

The cost of your care will depend upon a number of different factors, such as your current physical condition, the presence of on-going stressors that may inhibit healing, as well as your goals.

We will explain all costs that you may incur while under care at Rising Chiropractic.  We will obtain your approval prior to conducting any service, test, or procedure to ensure you fully understand and are comfortable with the costs incurred.

Please understand, when considering the cost of care, it is important to consider not just the financial investment you are making but also the important things in life that you are missing out on by remaining in your current condition.  Other costs of continuing to live in chronic pain, dysfunction, and ill health are lost time at work, experiences with family and friends, and an overall lower quality of life.

However, the benefits and improvements you can experience in your quality of life while under care at Rising Chiropractic are priceless.

Does insurance cover the services provided at Rising Chiropractic?

Commercial Insurance

Rising Chiropractic is out of network with all commercial insurance carriers, including Medicare Advantage/Medicare Replacement Plans.  If your insurance policy offers out-of-network reimbursement for chiropractic care, you may be entitled for reimbursement.

If you choose to seek reimbursement from your insurance carrier, our office will supply you with the necessary forms to file at your request.  The level of reimbursement you may receive depends on your specific insurance policy.  Rising Chiropractic makes no guarantees that you will receive reimbursement.  All insurance matters are between you and your insurance carrier.

We encourage you to contact your insurance carrier before your first appointment to understand your benefits.  This will assist in avoiding unnecessary delays in care.

We do accept your Health Savings Account (HSA).

Federal Medicare

Rising Chiropractic is a non-participating provider with Federal Medicare.  If you have Federal Medicare (you will have a red, white, and blue card), and it is your primary insurance, we will be happy to file claims on your behalf.

Please note Medicare will provide reimbursement directly to you for the services they cover.

Notice of Good Faith Estimate

NOTICE OF GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and health care will cost.

Under the law, all health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for health care items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

At Rising Chiropractic, we are committed to full transparency.

Regardless of your insurance status, we will explain the costs you may incur and obtain your approval prior to conducting any service, test, or procedure to ensure you fully understand and are comfortable with the costs incurred.
