Our Mission and Vision

OUR MISSION

It is our mission to enable the people of the CSRA to rise above their limitations and trust their innate power to live in health.

OUR VISION

We envision a community that strives to naturally achieve its fullest potential in all aspects of life by harnessing the innate power of the human body to heal and maintain optimal health.

OUR APPROACH

We approach your health in a holistic manner and seek to foster within you an inherent trust in your own body’s wisdom to adapt, heal, and self-regulate.

salutogenesis

We approach your health in a holistic manner and seek to foster within you an inherent trust in your own body’s wisdom to adapt, heal, and self-regulate.

This approach is called “salutogenesis,” which literally means “birth of health.” Using this model, we remove obstacles that prevent your body from functioning well and that bring about sensations of pain, stiffness, and other symptoms of dysfunction. We focus on health, well-being, and improved quality of life.

In contrast to this is “pathogenesis,” which means “birth of disease.” This emphasis on pathology and what is “broken” often includes fear of symptoms, avoidance of activity, and progressive loss of quality of life. As a society, we are trained to accept this model as normal and believe that our bodies will eventually let us down. We even make jokes about our ill-health and shrug our shoulders in resignation.

Be honest, do you want to live like that? Can you imagine a better way?

Benefits of salutogenic approach

A salutogenic approach looks at the numerous health and lifestyle choices that can create better vitality and well-being. Salutogenic practitioners understand that we humans have the innate capacity to move toward health, if only we allow it to happen. Salutogenic care embodies encouragement and support, empowering practice members to achieve their absolute best in all aspects of life. The focus is on increasing function, engaging in activity, embracing life, and progressive improvement of quality of life.

From a chiropractic perspective, salutogenesis is about improved adaptability and increased life expression. In addition to proper diet, increased exercise, adequate rest and processing of life’s stressors, we recognize the importance of the nervous system in facilitating optimal function and therefore improved quality of life.

To facilitate this process, we search for the root cause of your health concern by taking time to learn about you, your history, and your journey. We provide patient-centered care that is gentle, specific, and reproducible. Our care is focused on true correction and delivered with the understanding that this takes time and repetition. We accompany you on this journey and help you reach specific, sustainable, and meaningful health goals. At Rising Chiropractic, you become part of a family, and we celebrate you and your achievements.

We deliver health—something no pill or procedure can ever provide.

Rising Chiropractic Honors Our Military

Proud to be a veteran-owned business

At Rising Chiropractic, we don’t just honor our service members on designated days of the year. We honor them every single day.

Dr. Druckenmiller

United States Air Force

Dr. Druckenmiller proudly served in the United States Air Force as a Public Health Officer. Her primary duty was to ensure that every Airman was healthy and medically prepared for battle. It has always been her passion to serve, and though she no longer serves this great Nation, she continues to serve this community and every practice member with honor.

Matthew Radke

United States Marines

Corporal Matthew Radke is the son of Tonya, Dr. Druckenmiller’s wife. Matthew was called to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and honor his legacy. He currently serves in the United States Marines as a Combat Engineer, stationed at Camp LeJeune, NC. While Dr. Druckenmiller and Matthew will tease each other about their respective branches of service, she and Tonya are extremely proud of the sacrifices he is making to his nation.
